This notice explains what happens to your personal information when you use this website or contact Pure Essentials London. It is written in plain words. If anything is unclear, email us.
Who we are
The website is run by PURE ESSENTIALS (LONDON) LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 09500632. Our registered office is 129 Station Road, London NW4 4NJ.
We decide how your information is used, so we are the "controller" for it.

What this website collects today
This website does not ask you for any information. It has no forms and no account.
This website does not use cookies. It does not save information in your browser's storage. It has no analytics and no advertising tags. It loads no scripts from other companies. The fonts are stored on the website itself, so your browser does not fetch them from anyone else.
The WhatsApp, email, Instagram and Treatwell buttons are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to those companies until you click a link.
Hosting
The website is hosted by GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub. When you visit, your browser connects to GitHub's servers, and GitHub receives your IP address. GitHub logs IP addresses for security purposes. GitHub keeps those logs; we have no access to them.
When you contact us
Most people contact us by WhatsApp, by email or through Treatwell. Each of these services is run by another company, which handles your messages under its own terms and privacy notice.
WhatsApp is run by Meta. When you message us on WhatsApp, Meta processes your message and information about it, such as your phone number and when you sent it.
If you use a WhatsApp button on this website, the message box opens with some words already typed. Those words name the treatment you were looking at, or the part of the site you used, and a short reference code. This helps us answer you. You can change or delete the words before you send.
We read and keep the chat so we can answer you and arrange your appointment.
When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. Our email is delivered through Google's email service.
Treatwell
When you book through Treatwell, you give your details to Treatwell under its own terms. Treatwell passes us the booking details we need to provide your appointment.
The Instagram link opens our Instagram page. If you message us there, Meta handles the message under Instagram's own terms.
Health information in your messages
A question about a treatment can include information about your health. Please share only what we need to answer your question and book your appointment. Detailed health questions are covered at your consultation.
Why we use your information, and our lawful basis
The law asks us to say why we use your information and on what legal basis.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by telling us. This does not affect what we did before you told us.
Who else receives your information
- GitHub, which hosts this website.
- Meta, when you use WhatsApp or Instagram.
- Google, which delivers our email.
- Treatwell, when you book through Treatwell.
GitHub, Meta and Google may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their own privacy notices explain how they protect it.
How long we keep your information
We keep WhatsApp chats, emails and booking records for as long as we need them to arrange and provide your appointment and to meet our legal duties, and then delete them.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you (access);
- ask us to correct information that is wrong (correction);
- ask us to delete your information (erasure);
- ask us to limit how we use your information (restriction);
- object to how we use your information (objection);
- ask for your information in a form you can take to someone else (portability);
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on consent.
Some rights apply only in certain situations. To use any of them, email info@pureessentialslondon.com.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection. Its website is ico.org.uk.
When we add cookies
We plan to add measurement to this website later. Before that happens:
- the website will ask you before it uses any advertising or analytics cookies;
- no such cookies will be set, and no such tag will load, until you choose;
- Reject will be as easy to choose as Accept;
- you will be able to change your choice at any time from a link at the bottom of every page;
- this notice will be updated to list each cookie, who sets it, why, and how long it lasts.
We also plan a contact page with a Google map. The map will not load until you choose to show it. When you do, Google will receive your IP address and may set its own cookies. This notice will describe that when the contact page goes live.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when the website or the way we handle information changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
